Media mail takes maybe a week to arrive between the continental United States, but took a month to arrive from Hawaii. Apparently this is normal.     Great Classic Movie

    This is a great classic movie about prejudices during the 50's. It has a stellar cast. Brendan Faser and Matt Damon stand out as the hero and the villain (respectively). Chris O'Donnell does a fine job as the tormented buddy of Fraser. Ben Affleck is in it, but I don't even remember seeing him. It is a film worth viewing. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It also makes one think.

    The title "School Ties" represent the actual tie the students had to wear and the symbolism of being friends at the school.

    I have always enjoyed this movie. I needed to replace the DVD I had in my movie collection so I bought the DVD.
