A Good Stand Alone Movie
The film maker's commentary ( an added feature ) was fascinating, it really added a lot to the film. Dafne Keen, as Laura, the mutant kid, is especially engaging. Disappointing
I love the x men movies, but this one was very disappointing. The overuse of filthy language, excessive gore, and controversial story line made me want to watch it with the sound off. I am sure it was all done to intensify the story but it turned me off. Wish I hadn't spent my money on it. Hugh Jackman and Sir Patrick Stewart are better than this! Wolverine deserved better than this
Hollywood has no idea what to do with aging characters. The default appears to be "make them cranky and sick and use them as an unlikely martyr so that they can make way for the next generation. It's annoying and predictable. I was disappointed. This movie was needed to complete the collection. I like watching X Men movies but this one was awful. The bad language was overwhelming for me. If you're a fan of the Wolverine movies or just a plain old comic book lover, this is a movie for you! Hugh Jackman comes back again as Logan. He is aged and his mutant capabilities are lacking.
