    H&R Block - a Good Value

    I have H&R Block Deluxe tax software for over 10 years and very happy with it. I find it easy to use for normal income (W2, 1099-R,SS, etc) as well as investment income, capital gains, etc. It is a cheaper alternative to Turbo Tax equivalent software, and even cheaper when you buy it on EBay - typically under $30 for the deluxe version with Fed and one state included, along with 5 free Fed efiles. For complicated issues, one can access the H&R Community center and review or ask tax questions and get solutions from tax professionals.

    Could not get last years information?

    For some reason I could not transfer last years information to this year. I did not have this H&R last year but they said it would work, I am not a computer wiz so maybe I screwed up. So I had to type all the information in again. I haven't got all my information yet so I really can not comment on it yet. I had TaxAct last couple of years and this year they don't have CD's just downloads which I will never purchace. Thanks Sam

    H & R Block is easy to install and use. It imports past tax return saving you time. Easy to follow interviews with detailed information available if needed. Free e-file works easy. State downloads are easy to do as well.

    Income tax software at a bargain price

    Have used this software over many years and never had a problem. Very easy to use and accurate. Would highly recommend it even for someone who never did their income tax. saves a great deal of money compared to using an Accountant to do the tax.
