    Worth watching

    This is a similar story as The Tunnel only half of the body is in the States and other half in Mexico. A male detective from south of the border teams up with a quirky white female detective who lacks social skills and grace. He is quite charming and very human. Its looks at the role of governments and cartels and the attitudes that exist about women, poverty, family, honor and many other themes. We enjoyed it immensely.

    better then average

    I enjoyed the British/French version more then I did this version. I liked the two lead characters and I thought the rest of the cast did a credible job, however some of the writing and plot points were not done very well.

    Entertaining

    I know American remake of a foreign story of the same subject matter. And heard some negative reviews about this remake, but so far I'm enjoying it and I like the actors that are in it.
