Inside is OPTO sensor, with white plastic triangle which blocks light in sensor when you press pedal. Problem is that DIRT / insects can contaminate (this not happen if Hall type). Outside looks like picture. Overall Good seller: Good price, Packed well, shipped fast, received in good condition, and prompt reply to many emails asking them to remove the word "HALL" from the listing (to save others from this). Instead, they refunded my money.
