This book is a tremendous help in understanding all the terminology in weaving rugs. It gives great descriptions, uses, and recommendations of various warping threads and fabric used for weft. It has color photos of the finished rug and a swatch of the fabric used to show what it looks like and the effect you get in a rug. The patterns for the rugs are easy to follow with diagrams for setting the warping up. It is a great reference book for any weaver, inexperienced or experienced. Highly recommend this book. It is at a great value for all the information and help you get from it.
Great illustrations depicting loom set up and fabric selection with end product rug displayed. Many different weaves are shown with easy to understand instruction. Also an interesting section on looms and weaving overall. I thought it was worth the investment.
