King Achilles has tormented your people for far too long. As a Trojan warrior, you are the only man who can end the King's evil ways. To do so, you must battle your way through seven stages as you fight enemies like the Smasher, the Skyrogyro, and the Hatchetman. They come at you from all directions, so be careful. Find a "P" power-up and your sword will become twice as powerful. Other power-ups enable you to jump higher, recover strength or increase your speed. Pick up keys to open passages and kill mice for bonus points. Also, be sure to keep an eye out for hidden characters, accessible by striking the ground below you.

    Trojan is a fun early style arcade type game for the NES

    Considering the time, early Nintendo was a step up from Atari. That's all it was. So you have to understand what you are looking at. That being said Trojan is a great arcade style game. It's fun to play and keeps you entertained if that is the experience you are looking for.
