    Not perfect

    Neat tool but the tips are too big for circlips of smaller sizes - e.g. 8 mm - had to file them down to fit, which was a bit of a fiddle.

    Probably should have played a bit more!

    I had to file the pins of the pliers so they would fit into the circlip in my internal door handles and the pliers wouldn't open quite enough to easily remove the circlip. It was much easier using this tool than trying to bodge it with screwdrivers and ordinary pliers.

    Ordered Rolson got Toolzone . Not sure if the two companies are linked in anyway. For the small job I had rehanding door handles,the Toolzone pliers worked with ok

    Cheap but good

    These circlip pliers are cheap, but they really aren't bad and quite a clever design. Each interchangeable head has two positions, giving you eight pairs of internal and external circlip pliers, the spring pin holds the head in position and works ok. The tough steel and pins are strong enough for most jobs.

    I had to grind down the points to fit the clip I was removing. Then it worked fine. Good for very occasional use, but if it's a tool you need to use often, go for better quality
