    Everything is good except that the screen is a little dim

    The screen is a little dim. Typical monochromatic LCD screens are pretty clear. This one is not clear at all, unless you have good light source. And glare is also a big problem, making the viewing range even smaller. All other aspects are pretty good (if you don't mind the size). The writing experience can be really good, as long as you give it a protective layer and use a dried-up regular pen. The battery life is even better than kindle, because power from its occasional connection to your PC is basically enough to sustain the device. In other word, you don't need to spend time on charging it at all. Also, you can import images using the utility software, which is really useful for stuffs like map.
