This worked immediately when plugged in and configured in my DAW .I leave the USB power connected so it doesn't run down when needed . It takes a bit of configuring if your going to utilize more than just turning a few parameters on and off with it ,but its a cheap price for what it does. The on off button can change the control status so be aware of that.
