Great sport watch and pretty decent smart watch...
I've only had the watch a day or two but so far I'm impressed. My past watches were a more "smartwatch that does sport" focused background and switching to a "sports watch that does smart" I've made the right choice.
First up, when you set this up it just makes so much sense. Having already got the Connect app from my smartband, it just ported all settings over to this. Really easy, it also asks some unexpected but sensible questions during set up. Which wrist? Do you want the button facing away from your hand (really useful if your cycling gloves activate the button)? Little things that just make sense. There's also a little stud in the strap that stops the strap retainer from "wandering".
The watch itself is not as user friendly as Android Wear, but after a day or two, I got used to the subtle differences. The battery so far is as stated, I charge it while showering and it never dips below 80%, so I now have a mart watch that I wear "all the time".
I've not used it for activities, just step counting and it seems accurate. I use a Garmin 510 for my cycling and the watch recognises this. It's measuring my heart rate and stress (apparently I get ratty about an hour before finishing work), and my sleep pretty accurately.
The app and widget controls are easy to access, just swipe up/down and you can see music control, notifications, weather, health readings and so on.
All e-mail, WhatsApp, text, app and BBC sports notifications work and can be read/dismissed from the touchscreen. I'm not on Facebook, Twitter or any other social media so can't comment but I would imaging they all work. There are quite a lot of faces and apps to install from Connect IQ app and its pretty customiseable.
I'll update after I've had it a month but I'm very happy so far.
