    Excellent for it’s intended purpose. Not really for the studio, though.

    This is small, discrete and beautifully made. Mostly metal construction, good heft - won’t break easily. Very nice dial ‘feel’, unusual in the sea of imprecise plastic buttons and wheels. Looks good on an X-Pro or an X-100. Recycling with ordinary AAAs is very slow, but with high-capacity lithiums it is a different beast. The difference is huge, largely nullifying the usual criticisms. If you really intend to blaze away you should look at something else. Power is surprising, so ‘reach’ is good, particularly with the X-100s leaf shutter. Ideal for occasional use - travel, general-use, fill flash - and capable of quite alot more. Not sorry I bought it.

    Flash for Fuji X100f leaf shutter

    Great little flash, well made, bought it for use with Fujifilm X100f. Works well both on and off the camera. Off camera only works in manual though, but its easy to set the flash output level.
