Notes
Mithril is one of the most sought after Celtic/World music groups on the concert series scene. The band's unique progressive style has it's roots in traditional Celtic music but moves far beyond that, weaving such diverse influences as American folk, classical, and Middle Eastern melodies into their full tapestry of sound. Music for flute, fiddle, guitar and percussion with additional colors including Celtic harp, small pipes, and octave mandolin. Three tracks feature string orchestra along with the band (5, 8 and 9) and the Celtic Silk Road also includes oboe, horn, bassoon and clarinet in the orchestra!
