    Taking photography seriously....

    This lens combined with my Panasonic GF1 meets all my needs and has enabled me to rid myself of my expensive and cumbersome Nikon system. So if you are tired of carrying around a bag full of heavy lenses and just want to take 'pin-sharp' photos at a minute's notice...get this combination!

    Fantastic Lens

    Used with a Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera and an SLR Magic Anamorphot - the power stabiliser works on the BMPCC as does focus (although slow) and Iris control - and it manages to focus through the adaptor perfectly well. Very crisp image, largely plastic but pretty well made - may try it out on a gimbal. This doesn't have a manual aperture ring, and the focus ring is an infinity type so no external focus markings. Works brilliantly on the Lumix GM1 which gives that older camera a little more life.

    Excellent

    Sharp lens with impressive OIS. Tactile feel, durable design. Nice smooth rings. Only negative thing is the continual f/2.8 aperture does flicker a bit when zooming. I don't think this will be a problem for me personally.
