    Stand your ground against the Huns.

    Wonderful movie. My previous one got scratched, so I bought this one. Great acting. The role of using pigeons as messengers was well done, except for one error as a pigeon fancier. Homing pigeons from England would fly back to England...not to another place....i.e. headquarters of the Army in France. Just a small technical issue. But otherwise, very engaging movie with great character development and acting.

    Awesome movie. Lots of action. Ricky Schroder was great.

    Great movie. Ricky Schroder did a great job in his role. Weren;t an well know actors in it but they were all great in their roles too. Based on a true story after watching it you wonder how they survived. But they all hung together and fought till the end.

    The Lost Battalion

    The Lost Battalion starring Rick Schroder is one of the finest WWI movies I've ever seen. Schroder played a great role in Lonesome Dove, but Schroder's role in The Lost Battalion is the finest in my opinion. Schroder is a fantastic actor!

    The Battalion was lost but Your Time will Not be!

    Well worth watching. Very tough little movie - not gore for the shock value, but very intense. Rick Shroder is excellent as is the entire cast. It gets you, realizing that real fathers, sons and brothers were in those places and had to do those things to one another. This movie shows the courage and will, but it does not minimize the suffering or glorify the killing. I have gotten extremely selective about how many disks I own; this one makes the cut.

    Great movie. History buffs willlove it!

    An extremely week done movie of an actual event. The equipment, uniforms and speech patterns were historically correct. I’ve been fascinated by this tale since early high school in the 50s. Glad to see justice done to the event.
