WELCOME BACK KOTTER begins with Kotter returning to the school where he was once a pupil--James Buchanan High. Kotter is there to teach the remedial class that he once belonged to, but four students--Vinnie Barbarino (John Travolta), Freddie "Boom-Boom" Washington (Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs), Juan Epstein (Robert Hegyes), and Arnold Horshack (Ron Palillo)--are a constant thorn in his side. However, Kotter proves to be an inspirational and tolerant teacher, and is soon dispensing a brand of wit and wisdom based on Gabe Kaplan's real-life experiences. This release includes every episode from the first season of the show.

    They just don't make em like this anymore

    I love classic everything. TV, music, you name it. It's mostly because they just don't make them like that anymore. Welcome Back Kotter is one of the greatest sitcoms ever made. I don't recommend you buying this unless you like to laugh, and sometimes even learn.
