    It’s a genuine IPhone. But, not a brand new OEM model. It’s a US model IPhone with aftermarket non-Apple modification. The mod removes the eSIM chip and installs a physical SIM tray into a new machined cutout. To fit the SIM tray, a different sized non-Apple battery has been used. The phone works fine except doesn’t have eSIM function anymore. But, new cutout means it won’t have the same dust/water rating and the non-Apple different sized battery probably won’t have the same performance.
