The action once again takes place from a third-person perspective set behind the nimble ninja, with highly cinematic showdowns taking place amidst exotic locales. Acclaimed designer Tomonobu Itagaki has altered the previous title's fast-paced combat system to incorporate new weapons and attacks.<br><br>In an attempt to appease those who thought the original game was too challenging, the developers have included an automatic health regeneration system and a choice of four difficulty levels, ranging from "acolyte" to "master ninja." The story mode follows Ryu in his trek from Tokyo to New York to a demon-populated netherworld. While the story mode is strictly for solo players, PlayStation Network subscribers will be able to record, modify, and post film clips of their most manic maneuvers for the online world to enjoy.<br><br>Other notable additions to distinguish this version from the Xbox 360 game include three new playable characters, two-player cooperative support (both online and offline) in special challenge stages, and bonus modes. Completing the campaign will unlock all of the stages so you can revisit each one to set a high score, with the results appearing on a global leaderboard. "Ninja Records" is a new stat-tracking feature that will note your fastest completion time, largest combo, top score, and more.

    BEWARE. Item not as described. Dishonest seller falsely advertised bag to be a convertible backpack. It is NOT possible to be used as a backpack. Seller didn’t disclose that the 2 clips to connect the backpack straps together are damaged because the middle plastic part to secure the straps broke off on both of the clips. The 2 backpack straps cannot be connected to the other 2 straps. Added 2 photos of the same bag in blue that is not damaged showing the original clip to connect the straps

    Sorry you feel that way. The item is what it is. You saying it doesn’t work like a backpack is false. It shipped in good condition as you look at my photos. Not sure what happened.     Great challenging game

    This is a great game similar to Ninja Gaiden 2 for the XBOX 360. The first Buddha boss was unforgiving challenging, where it's hard to get an attack in. Unfortunately, they got rid of the blood despite being a mature rated game. The cinematic are stunning and excellent. A must buy for Ninja Gaiden and Action Adventure Open World fans.
