In addition, the camera is compatible with STM lenses to achieve high quality Full HD (1920 x 1080) EOS movies for smooth, quiet AF performance.

    Great features and amazing entry-level DSLR.

    This is an entry-level DSLR from Canon. It's really easy to use, and comes with lots of great features to help you develop (sorry, couldn't help it) as a photographer. The flip-out screen really helps you understand what you've taken and how the camera works. My only complaint is that only comes in a right-handed version. As a lefty, I have to learn a whole new set of skills on top of learning how to operate the camera itself.

    To the point.

    Set it to auto for very easy still and HD video. Set it to manual and you will have more settings than even a pro will need. Standard 18-55 lens is a good compliment to start with. May be a model that is a few years old now, but is well up to the job. First camera I ever had where I am considering investing in better lenses for wildlife stuff

    Canon 700d

    This camera is one of the best purchases I have made. I jumped straight in without reading the instructions and it was super easy to use. After only a couple weeks I can confidently take pictures in the manual mode. The settings are easy to tweak and the kit lens it comes with is great for the price. You can take some incredible professional photos with this camera. The touch screen is swivel out and it's brilliant. Great camera, would reccomend to any photographer.
