Originally designed as the matching neck pickup for the JB Model bridge pickup, the Jazz is an incredibly versatile humbucker that will work for almost any style of music. It pairs especially well with the JB, Distortion, Invader and Perpetual Burn but is a great all-purpose neck pickup for many pickup combinations.

The brighter sound has slightly less output and is a good match with most pickups. A popular combination is The Jazz in the neck with either a JB (SH-4) or Duncan Custom (SH-5) in the bridge.

SD Jazz humbucker
I got one for the neck position of my Epiphone Les Paul. What a huge difference! Warm, clean, and big sound from it. Definitely worth the investment and time to upgrade the guitar pick ups. It sounds better than my Gibson SG. Maybe I need to put these in that guitar too. Seymour Duncan is one of the elite in the guitar world, love it.
