    Portable Radio Shack AM/FM Radio

    This radio has a long history in the family ... originally purchased when Radio Shack was still around (many, many years ago) it finally gave up the ghost ... the challenge was to find a replacement ... I did (brand new old stock). It was delivered on time. great price and a surprised and happy family member ... thanks Ebay!

    Sounds great but has a quirk.

    I bought this because the AM DX was supposed to be superior. It kinda is but it's not usable because you'll be listening to Chicago or NY and the thing will pop over to another station like it was an FM radio popping around. Sound quality through the headphones is excellent, though, better than my other radios.
