    get to the heart of it all

    beautifully re-mixed and re-mastered. john and yoko assembled a top rate band to back them up! tony levin on bass, andy newark on drums and earl slick and hugh mc cracken on guitar are top notch and you finally get to hear what is was all about! you finally get to listen to all the details and clarity the original album was lacking. yoko's songs are great as well; kind of early b-52s in their urgency. a real new wave classic; a gem! highly recommended.

    It's Lennon at his best, hopeful and soaring to new heights.

    Lennon's last offering hinted at what was to come musically just prior to his tragic death. Love gained, love lost, reflection, new child, songs to Yoko snd Sean. John Lennon was in a good place and was mining another musical landscape. And a Beatles reunion might have been a reality had he lived. Imagine...
