I buy these batteries because i know the ordinary run of the mill batteries in shops are not alkaline and there is less lasting power in them than you will get out of these batteries . so i would say they are good value and you wont have to change them as often . i have bought pp3 type for smoke alarms of these brand of battery and found them to last nearly double the time of even duracell gold tops .

The product arrived quickly and we're boxed well and looked the part BUT sadly given the title I expected them to last MUCH longer than they did. I use them for my insulin pump which I've had to change within a week where as other long life type batteries last for two at least.

Bought these just before Christmas 2017 to use in all my various outdoor Christmas lights. Each set of lights required 3 batteries. The lights were on continuously for 6 hours each evening....the lights were on an intermittent cycle of on-off twinkling in rapid succession. The lights were switched on two weeks before Xmas Day and were still going strong 4 days after Jan 1st 2018. Really impressed with these batteries which have performed even better than some so called 'long life batteries' I bought in the past, including Duracell Long life batteries bought in local supermarkets!! They arrived loose in a cardboard box..which did not make any difference to me whatsoever.. Will buy again from this seller if available

The price of these batteries is amazing, I have bought loads of them, especially for Christmas, you never know when one of the grand children's toys will die because someone had bought cheap batteries, I also buy them for my great grandson, and for my grand daughter.... its amazing how many things you use batteries for, make up mirrors, clocks, batteries, Christmas lights or ornaments, by Christmas I usually have a big tub of them for them all to dip in, and I can guarantee that almost all of them get used so at these prices its great!! you normally pay £8-£10 for just half a dozen at the supermarkets, so get stocked up folks!! Or just go around the house and see what things you need batteries for, then come Christmas time when all the shops are closed and you desperately need some batteries..... you will never run out. Rechargeable batteries are in phones, cameras and various (cd etc.) players. They are OK, but recharging them is a constant feature, one to be remembered before using such items. Switching back to single use batteries for radios and torches has worked well for me. These batteries last for months, and a lot of shops will take and recycle used ones.
