Blanket Answer - battles well against the dreaded blanket weed!
I've been using Blanket Answer 'BA' for several years now. Although I've tried a variety of other products in this time I have found 'BA' to be the best. It's easy to use and relatively effective in controlling blanket weed is used regularly in summer when my fish are most active. Just mix it with pond water in a watering can and pour it evenly over the pond and the magic begins!

still have grean water
my pond water was quite clear but thought i would start using clover to get on top of things so i wouldn't get blanket weed my water has gone darker green now i will have to use the rest of the clover but will return to my usual product. not too pleased.

Good product buy the larger size for value
Blanket Answer has cleared my 3000 gal pond of the long stranded blanket weed, this is the second time of trying this product the first time didn’t work as well as l expected albeit l had huge amounts of blanket weed at the time, l have found what l believe is the key to its success this time as l turned the filter pump off for just a couple of hours this enabled the powder to settle much better amongst all the weed, the first time l used it l had the filter pump on which obviously disturbed the powder from settling evenly so my advice is turn off the pumps for just for 1-2 hours for good results.Blanket Answer has cleared my 3000 gal pond of the long stranded blanket weed, this is the second time of trying this product the first time didn’t work as well as l expected albeit l had huge amounts of blanket weed at the time, l have found what l believe is the key to its success this time as l turned the filter pump off for just a couple of hours this enabled the powder to settle much better amongst all the weed, the first time l used it l had the filter pump on which obviously disturbed the powder from settling evenly so my advice is turn off the pumps for just for 1-2 hours for good results.

Definitely does the job
Had a massive blanket weed growth in my 4000 gallon pond, blocking the bottom drain, skimmer and causing the drum to constantly clean as the water simply couldn't get through it. Went slightly over the recommended dose as I had a blanket jungle and after 2 days when the water cleared, the blanket weed was still there. What a waste of money I thought! But after about 2 weeks of feeling a bit ripped off, it started dieing back rapidly and falling off the pond walls in huge clumps, so much so I had to get it out with a net. Now, 3 weeks later its all but gone and has left a layer on the bottom and sides that the weed won't grow on. How long this will last I don't know, but I would have no problems in doing it again. Great stuff that for me, really did work. Just make sure you get it from ... I have been using Clover Leaf Answer for many years, it works well for a limited amount of time in my case 2 months maximum before having to redoes !! Not cheap but this is the most effective blanket weed killer iv used. Answer sludge remover is recommended after each does to clear the water.
