New Belling component quality standards are obviously taking the same route as their product.
Belling/Invensys have gone downhill rapidly over the past 10 years, Evident in the poor quality of their components. 1 functioned correctly 1 did not.

Rings that simmer!
I now have rings on my ceramic hob that simmer. Only wish I had replaced them ages ago instead of having to be nearby to switch the ring on and off. My son fitted them in about 15 minutes. Brilliant.
