Have had problems with telephone for weeks. Last problem was a continuous ringing when put receiver down of hard wired phones. Eventually decided the problem likely to be with face plate of 'splitter'/filter that fits on front of BT master socket. The current one was a BT ADSL V1.0 fitted 13 years ago. Just wanted a replacement faceplate. Latter now fitted to existing back box and working perfectly.
