Good quality replacement part
It's the first time I've fitted one of these and it was really straightforward. My only issue was making sure it went in the right way up and fitting the two connectors the right way round. My first attempt showed a full tank when it was almost empty (as it had to be in order to fit the new part) so I switched the wires round and it worked fine. One connector was wider than the other one my car, but the spade terminals on the new part were both the same size so I just had to crimp mine to fit. Genuine Lucas Unit
Have replaced a 2 year old failed tank sender unit which when removed looked OK, float not leaking. The replacement looks much the same, although perhaps better made, so let’s see how long this one lasts!
