No More Squealing
Received this a while ago but fitted it today. Very easy to apply to the Pads and it stopped the squealing immediately. I would definitely recommend this product if your brakes are new or still useable and there squealing/squeaking when driving or when you press the Brake Pedal. A well known Car Parts Store sells Anti Squeal Shims for £25 so this is definitely worth it for £5

"Anti Squeal" pads fitted to the 8 OEM front pads of Audi TTRS Mk3, Ceratec grease used as mounting paste. Squealing has not reduced and initially louder and longer! HOWEVER very little distance covered since fitment (4 days ago) and only town driving. Needs further fast road use and braking to confirm if squealing has been reduced. Please note that squealing only occurs when pulling up to a halt at very low speeds. Have ticked "Yes" instead of "No" to all three boxes above as this was required in order to write this product review. Worked Perfectly
I didn't want to fork out 45 quid for pad shims from Toyota so I bought these, test drove the car after fitting them and my high pitch squeel was gone. It also got rid of the horrible groaning noise that my brakes made while reversing. For £5 these are an absolute winner, other reviews claiming they don't work either have a different issue or they did it wrong (which is pretty hard to do). If your car requires shims but doesn't have them then this will work for you. For reference I fitted them to 2000 Toyota Celica that has brembo pads. Easy job to do at home, trace your pad and cut the shims to shape, slap it on, nae bother. Great product, thanks guys. Exactly as advertised.
I have a Trike with EBC bake pads on the front and Wilwood on the rear. Both were squealing badly when the brakes were applied. This is a very expensive V8 powered Trike and I was embarrassed by the squealing. The EBC shims have completely solved the problem. I tried the other sprays and greases but they didn't work for long. I am hoping this is a long term solution. The only thing I don't understand is why they are not sold in the U.S.. used these when fitting new Mintex 1144 pads to Lotus Elan - easy to cut and attach to the back of the pads, also the CERETEC grease is excellent for applying to the rear of the pads and fixing pins - good value for money and silent brakes!
