    I found that the end fitting into the cleaner was somewhat tight so I know that it won't come out easily. The other end that fits onto the wand is actually better than the original in that it doesn't pop off like the old one did whilst using it. Overall pleased with my purchase.

    Good replacement for DC04 Absolute

    Took me a while to find a replacement tube for my DC04 Absolute. The hose seems reasonable quality and will hopefully extend my old trust Dyson for a few more years yet. Dyson don't make these parts anymore so I didn't expect this to be a perfect replacement... the fitting is a tight fir as previous reviews have stated; however it works fine

    A decent alternative to the original part

    This is a very decent alternative to the genuine part (which Dyson don't make anymore). Although not as stylish, it is just as functional. I cannot say anything about its longevity yet, but the longevity of the genuine part wasn't that good anyway.

    Good replacement for the money

    This is good value for money replacement for Dyson hose. However, it is a tight fit on the handle tube and you have to be careful of the clip as pushing the tube in can catch on it . I had to scrape excess plastic off the rim of the tube to get it to fit over the handle tube.

    A bit fiddly

    This is a good replacement but needs a bit of prep work to get the wand to slide into the hose as it is a tight fit. Firstly clean all the gunk off the wand tip, then lubricate it and the inside of the tube with WD40 or wash up liquid, then wiggle it a bit and it will slide into place with a good shove..

    Perfect in every way!

    Wow, this is perfect! I have the Dyson DC04 Absolute + (grey, purple and yellow) and it fits exactly like the original hose. The only difference is that the old hose was purple and this is grey, which matches the body so it's a winner. It took 30 seconds to fit and my Dyson has been reborn. I save money, save a big plastic product from going to landfill AND I've got ultimate suction back. I've got an eco suction cordless vax and it's useless. I want my Dyson to live forever and with after market spares like this, I'll give it a good go!
