I'm sorry you have had this problem. The shocks were privately branded by Monroe for Federated and were repainted by Monroe before leaving the factory. It's possible the gas leaked down from being on the shelf too long, but whatever the situation, there was no attempt by us to deceive. We have fulfilled over 10,000 orders on eBay over the past 15 years, and we didn't get to this point by being unethical. The order has been refunded without return.
