I have a chair originally with 5 zig zag springs and the middle one was prone to breaking . I fitted two replacement springs using these brackets . The brackets enabled me to do the work from underneath without removing the upholstery . The Chair is comfortable again and hopefully with a stronger seat .

Well this was my first attempt at reattaching 4 broken Zig Zag springs. Take out the effort it took to remove all the staples and peel back the cover on the arm chair, the rest was plain sailing. I screwed the Zig Zag brakets in place and then used a spare shoe lase attached to a spanner, as a lever, and pulled the Spring over the end of the bracket. Easy Peasy. The instructions are good but I did view a YouTube clip as additional info.
