They aren't kidding when they say apply with a course rose on the watering can. Bunged up my fine rose toot sweet. Anyway, applied to the roots via no rose and seems to have interrupted the vine weevils life cycle as planned. Watered again during the dry sunny period to let the worms swim about. Still checking regular and dispatching any adults found but the plants are doing much better.

Great organic control
I have used tis vine weevil control for sometime, it works 100% with just one application in springtime or when the outside temperature has warmed up, or maybe a second treatment later on if you have a large infestation, just follow the instruction supplied and you will remove these troublesome pests, I use this on my Blueberry's as they are in large containers and get bumper crops every year and no pest problems, so I give the product a 5* rating.I have used tis vine weevil control for sometime, it works 100% with just one application in springtime or when the outside temperature has warmed up, or maybe a second treatment later on if you have a large infestation, just follow the instruction supplied and you will remove these troublesome pests, I use this on my Blueberry's as they are in large containers and get bumper crops every year and no pest problems, so I give the product a 5* rating.

Plants still thriving
I purchased this as all my begonia bulbs had been destroyed and discovered that there were some unusual looking white conical shaped grubs in the soil. I treated the soil as described and as yet the new plants are thriving. It is much smaller packaging than I expected but good things come in small packages - easy to apply. Hopefully it has got rid of the problem. The only real way to control Vine Weevils
I have used this product before to treat my many pots with as often some of them get Vine Weevil grubs in which decimate the plants by eating the roots. Unfortunately it is very difficult to stop the Weevils arriving in your garden and can often be introduced from plants bought at garden centres unwittingly. Probably best to treat again in the autumn, which I often forget to do, and is a little expensive for what you get and amount you can treat, but no real alternative. It seems to work quite well, but not a one treatment wonder - its usually annual at least.I have used this product before to treat my many pots with as often some of them get Vine Weevil grubs in which decimate the plants by eating the roots. Worked well in past..hope it does again!
I last used Nemasys about 10 years ago and it controlled a vine weevil problem in potted plants in a greenhouse. I have had no further problems until last winter, when I lost several pelargoniums to vine weevil. Hopefully this application should also be effective.

Since I used this the first time last year, I noticed a dramatic reduction of vine weevil infestation on my potted plants. I used it again this year to follow it up.. I lost several potted plants this winter mostly fuchsias and emptying the pots and look for larvae I have only found few where before the first application at least 10 in a pot present. I highly recommend it if you have vine weevil infestation in your garden. I may try next the nematodes for slugs..Since I used this the first time last year, I noticed a dramatic reduction of vine weevil infestation on my potted plants.
