I like this Nikon because it has excellent glass, ranges near and far, and has a slope feature for uphill or downhill shots, with a reasonable price tag. It has 4 ranging modes. I use the golf mode that displays what the shot plays and also the actual distance. The only draw back is that the display is in black letters and numbers, not lit up in red display like the Bushnell 7 (without slope) I had. That's why it's a 4 star instead of 5. However, it's also half the price! Since I don't play in serious tournaments anymore, I can now use the slope feature which is a great aid for my aging eyes. I recommend it.

A good quality rangefinder for a variety of purposes. I use it on trophy fishing to determine the distance to a marker float. Such an object is small (2 "* 2"). The distance is short, up to 130 meters, but the object is very small, so a powerful rangefinder with good optics is needed.

Spent a little more on this great product so I could use it for both hunting and golf! Very impressed with it and how easy it is to use!

Tried other guys lasers and the all seem pretty much the same. So I when for average price and a company that makes cameras, figured they would make good optics and I was right. Good clear view and very accurate on the distances. No need to spend $300 or more. Buy this the Coolshot 40i.
