Very good seller. I I initially returned the item as thought it was faulty as the shoot bolts wouldn’t stay in on the door. Further to a conversation apparently there is a ball bearing behind a grub screw that needs to be transferred over from the existing lock!!

    Better to spend more

    After stripping out the old mechanism and comparing it to the new one I noticed the new one was bent on the casing which I had to make good. Part of the mechanism did not align correctly. I works but made a 10 minute job tedious. I suggest spending more and get better quality.

    Great Quality Direct Replacement Gearbox

    Great quality direct replacement gearbox. Fitted perfectly into the door to replace the old worn out unit. Much cheaper than calling a locksmith or replacing the door. Can be done by a competent DIY enthusiast. Check out videos on youtube as these are invaluable.
