    Great replacement for an existing door lock

    Excellent replacement for our existing door lock. Measure carefully the existing lock and check against the photos as there are quite a few different variants of these locks, ours was a single spindle but there are twin spindle and other similar types. Basically a matter of unscrewing the door handles, the lock mechanism off the edge of the door, taking out the eurolock (need to insert the key and partly turn it), and then the whole lock mechanism comes out of the door and can be replaced. Loosely fir the door handles then put the lock mechanism onto the door locks. Make sure that the 'hooks' on the top and bottom lock sliders engage properly in the right place with the new lock. Loosely do up all bolts and try it several times before tightening up all the screws.

    We had been having trouble with the French door for a long time, hard to lock, removed the old door lock new one fitted in easily and all was fixed in less than a couple of hours.

    These lockcases are good quality . As long as the door is readjusted after fitting by someone who knows what they're doing they should last well. Don't forget a lockcase will usually only break when the door has dropped.

    exact fit

    easy enough make sure you buy exactly what is on your door or else you could land yourself in bother should add that the gearbox failed because the side plates needed tweeking my fault locks been dodgy for a few years yery smooth now
