    Vice knob broken, but I suspect happen in transit as one of the inflatable bags inside box had burst. Instructions unclear but luckily it was mostly already assembled. Base rocks slightly, and handle is cheap plastic. Once set up and aligned it cut aluminium channel and 8mm threaded steel rod square and accurately. Also stayed true after cutting so minimal set up required for the next time. Luckily I have 2nd grinder so I’ll leave this assembled. Cheaper than cut off saw so suitable for my diy.

Thanks! * NOTE TO BUYERS * There are lots of lookalike versions of this angle grinder stand on eBay, also advertised as "Sealey" brand and having a cast iron base. Both claims are untrue! The Sealey angle grinder stand sold by White Rose Tools is the genuine article and only about £11 more than the cheap knock-offs. It's well worth the extra money.

    A bit fiddly to set up but then does the job well. Some parts a but flimsy.

    Needs quite a bit of setting up to get it working properly. The arms supporting the angle grinder look a bit flimsy but the whole stand feels solid enough now everything is set up. Time will tell if it lasts though I don't recall ever buying a bad Sealey tool -they tend to be decent. My angle grinder needed M10 bolts which is OK for the Sealey but if your grinder used M8 bolts you need to use the plastic inserts supplied and I wonder how well the whole thing will work or last with those. I can get good clean cuts with a 1mm cutting disc. Does not work well with a battery powered angle grinder - they are too big and heavy. I use mine with an old Bosch mains powered grinder (which is quite compact) and a cheap variable speed attachment and the whole thing works well.

    Depends what you want

    It would not be fair to say this stand is not worth the money . It really depends on what your looking to do! If accuracy is what your after. Don’t bother but for general use it’s fine for the money. Very hard to keep the adjusters tight allowing the grinder to move . Also the bolts that hold the arms on are to short and only thread in with 3 4 turns. Easily replaced with a couple of bolts. As I say for the money it’s not bad. But I which now I’d spent more . Never found a problem with sealy tools before

    Great piece of Kit !!

    This is a brilliant gadget. It makes cutting metal with your Angle Grinder both safe and easy. I used my old Bosch Angle grinder that fitted perfectly. I would highly recommend this product. It makes a great addition to your home workshop or workplace.

    Very poor quality product

    Bolts are to short that go through the main body to the arm brackets that hold the grinder and rattled itself apart so could be dangerous bolts are also very low grade steal may as well be plastic the guard and single tiny nut and bolt point less fell off to be honest provably to dangerous to use so it's going in the bin

    Holds its own corner

    For light hobby welding work. Ideal for smaller precise metal cutting as opposed to freehand disc cutter or large bench cutter. Quality makes it fit for purpose but not sure as to longevity at this time. Easy to assemble and adjust.
