    A QUICK STUDY

    I'm an English teacher (30 years). I bought this book years (centuries?) ago for myself. It's a fast way to learn about the rules of usage, grammar, and how to write properly. In 85 pages it says it all. I bought this copy for a person who is in a writing class with me. English is not her first language, so she needed something that would quickly help her. You should see my copy...It's highlighted, dog-eared, and written on. I probably should buy a new one. Love it!

    Best Kept Secret In Every English Class!

    As an English teacher for more than 30 years, this is the BEST little jewel and marvelously well kept secret I have ever run across. I am now working with ESL students on the doctorate or post doctorate level. As they learn to put their thoughts more plainly and precisely on professional papers. This little book has so many wonderful guidelines to suggest and rules of writing English that native English speakers take for granted!! I would almost go so far as to say this book is somewhat like the dictionary of writing styles and order that ALL adults who claim to have even a partial college education need as much as a pastor of a church needs The Holy Bible to gather sermons to preach. It's GREAT!!!
