When you first take a hold of this unit it seems kind of large but once you turn it on you understand that's a good thing . It has this excellent wide screen on which you pretty comfortable viewing pictures as well as any videos on-line or just a movie you've uploaded . The hx2400 has 256mb shared memory which can however be upgraded to 2Gb with a SD card .It's fast through its 520Mhz processor which responds in a glimpse .Battery seems too run long enough for you to make what you're up to and not let you down.I hear it can use another battery besides the one it has , haven't really seen that .Good thing about a computer this small it actually does what a big desktop fellow would do but won't fit on your pocket. it has the MS Office and Outlook express , it has GPS system , bluetooth manager and the wi-fi connector.Using the Windows mobile based software has the unlimited choice of bringing all kinds of application or software to your PDA. There are three models in the hx2400 series: Model ROM Operating System hx2410 64MB Pocket PC 2003 hx2490 128MB Windows Mobile 5.0 hx2490b 192MB Windows Mobile 5.0 All three models have a 512MHz processor, 64MB of RAM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios, dual SD and CF slots, rubber side grips and an external battery. The hx2400 series is identical to the hx2100 series, except that the models all have a faster CPU and a Wi-Fi radio. These are very high spec devices, capable of performing most tasks.
