    Works great for me!

    I already had the earlier version from Motion Pro that look like a large piece of fuel line sliced in half. I used those two and one of my new flat version to get the tire 90% on and I had this new flat version along with my third tire iron in place for the last tug. The flat design worked perfectly for that last bite. It's super easy to get off of the rim once the tire is mounted. I highly recommend them. I always use at least three and normally four rim protectors when I mount tires.

    SAVE YOUR MONEY, THESE ARE ALL HYPE

    Cheap plastic, fancy name brand junk... I'm a retired tire man with 40 years' experience... The only tires I've not worked with are commercial airline tires... ANY SMALL PIECE OF DUCTWORK OR TIN WILL GIVE YOU BETTER RESULTS AT A MUCH LOWER PRICE.

    Rim Protectors that work

    I saw a video on YouTube and the guy was using these and they looked like the thing to get and use. They were ! I've changed a few tubed MC tires off my old 1970 XLH but not a Tubeless. tire off my 2012 FXSTC. I bought these and also got some of theBead Braker Prybars too. Got the tire off easy enough but getting the new one on was a bit of effort but the trick is to take Small bites and work your way around and these bars did the trick. I may get a second set ( bars and rim protectors ) next time to aid in the application as a third bar would help allot. The product does what it's suppose to and works excellent.

    plastic is too slick

    Not great for street bike tires. Might work fine for skinnier offroad tires? Definitely be careful with these! the plastic is really slick and tire irons will slide off under pressure. Good way to get hurt.

    Your Get What You Pay For Applies to These Rim Protectors

    This new design worked out all previous issues I've been reading about. Strong, gusseted design for durability.. works great on my vehicles 15" wheel thru 18".. that's all I need. I'm in So.Calif. so these are used (for me) in 70° to 110°.. and that might make a difference in the performance compared to colder places. Nice addition to my tire change regime.
