For tired tyres
Typical of many trailers my tyres were old rather than having lost much tread in their lifetime. Having previously had a blow out on my caravan with a tyre that had deteriorated from the inside through age. Bearing in mind the weights I sometimes carry, I have ever since followed the advice I have read in several magazines to change the tyres by 8 years of age which has to be better than the costs and inconvenience of a blow out.Typical of many trailers my tyres were old rather than having lost much tread in their lifetime.
