Still funny after all these years
I love this series, and I wanted to see if it stood the test of time. It does. The characters are carefully drawn and the scripts are quick and consistant. it is totally subjective of course, but for me this is quality humour writing and leaves a lot of 'sitcoms' for dead.

Butlins revisted
Now as a child all our family holidays were at various Butlins around the country. So imagine watching it on TV thinking "so that's what they were up to". This series is great I have everyone released so far & not just cause of holiday memories as a child but cause you get great comedy, Fantastic cast & a look into a way of life many of us often wonder about LIVING ON CAMP. Things change in holiday camps but this show keeps the best of those days & I loved every minute of it. Yes makes you want to shout "Hi-De-Hi" each morning but of course you can't you'll get locked up.Now as a child all our family holidays were at various Butlins around the country. Hi-De-Hi - Series 3 And 4 (DVD 2004)
I thought this DVD was very good, use to watch it when i was younger. Still just as entertaining as i can remember. It was cheaper to buy on Ebay than the shops. The DVD is in half an hour episodes, which is great, didn't have to watch it all at once. Can't wait to get the next series
