    Unfortunately, although I recognised the seller was based in Israel, I had not appreciated that VAT & customs taxes would be due on delivery (USA originated items always seem to have a VAT & duty caution against them). Sadly this meant I had to cancel the order, however the seller could not have been more helpful. The refund came extremely promptly, and the communication was first class. Although nothing got bought in the end, I suspect this is a first class seller with integrity.

    Good for now

    Product operates as expected. It was easy to set up and sync with my Garmin 1030 plus unit. It does seem flimsy, so I'd like to have a backup since I've gone through two other previous generation chest straps and transponders. Maybe just my preference, but we'll see the life span!

    Requires head unit. Will not connect directly to Garmin app. Dumb..

    This product is poorly designed and marketed. Be design, it does not connect to the Garmin app and is intended to be connected to a Garmin "head unit" as an accessory. Think of a feature-full Garmin watch or bicycle computer. This HRM will not connect to VivoMove HR watch. Separately ,by design, it requires location permissions in whatever app you use to read the heart rate data. This is due to Android's policy for "Bluetooth Low Energy" devices. Some Bluetooth LE devices have GPS but have such low firmware footprints that they defer to the app to be in charge of permissions, so in order to use any Bluetooth LE devices you have to give whatever app location permissions.

    Good product but confusing instructions

    Had it for over a month now with no problems. Once its set up its good to go. Unfortinatly the setup is the only confusing part. Not sure how garmin could screw this up but they did. Setup instructions in the included manual are non exsistend, the only thing you get is a link to a internet site. Why garmin? Is it so tough to print a few sentences to tell you how this works? I was trying for a while tho set it up in the garmin app untill i found out its not suported in there only the pro model is. You have to use a third party app to track your heartrate. Or another device that is supported. Just dont expect it to work in their own app... Why cant you mention that in the manual?

    Great heart rate monitor from Garmin

    my 4th heart rate monitor by Garmin. This one is light weight and so far has no lag in recording heart rate. my old ones still record data, but this is my choice when i cycle.

    Garmin Dual-HRM monitor.

    The Garmin HRM-Dual strap works with my Vivoactive 3 and my Garmin 35 Forerunners! It provides more accurate HR charts on Garmin Connect for those who follow or train by HR data. This strap is light weight and easy to adjust but time will tell how durable it will be.
