great wet or dry very resonable price
Hi all thought I would buy one of these one blade as my friend said how easy it was to shave wet or dry and it works a treat and has not cut me or given me a rash and its simple light and compact I have shaved four times on one charge and its still fine and gives a close shave its a bargain price if you check out what others cost

Fine in a specific case
If all of your stubble points roughly in the same direction when you raise your chin then this device is useful and particularly on long stubble because you can use it with a wet shave. However, this is all good until I get to the stubble on my throat which turns perpendicular as it passes around my larynx. This is not uncommon. This device just doesn't do the trick here. I also tried it on shaving my head and it did a pretty good job although once again tricky at the sides where the grain of the hair is parallel to the floor. Yes I did turn the blade so the device was being used against the grain as instructed - I'm not that dumb but this is not at all a natural motion. Would be easier if the handle had a pivot point approx 1/2 to 2/3 the way up so that the blade could be made perpendicular in either direction. (You saw the idea here first Philips and owe me full royalties if you ever produce a product anything like this) Basically good on stubble that points approx north/south. I'm not switching from using a regular razor yet.

lightweight with great features
Wasn't expecting much,WOW, was I wrong. This is a little beast of a shaver. I prefare dry shaving to wet, it just glides through the thickest of hair. I shave against the grain for a much closer shave. Battery power seems to last n last, only charged once since I got it. Finally, a shaver that does the busines. 10/10

A Razor with the WOW factor
The Philips one Blade has astounded me in many ways! Not only does it give you a smooth Dry Shave! But the wet shave is ao quick its had to believe! I have used many different Razors Electric, Rechargeable ones, as well as traditional Razors ! The Philips One blade not only gives a close shave but you can actually sculpt designs into your hair ! I'm no hairdresser but was given a picture by my Son and he asked me to copy it on his head I did and it looks great. I really believe its the best Razor I've ever Purchased

Good, but not for me.
I brought this product hoping for a closer shave from a electric razor while still being quicker than a wet shave. I'm not going to say this product is bad but it doesn't really suit my needs. The shave is a lot closer than other electric razors providing a smooth finish with no nics or uncomfortable skin irritation, but it takes a lot longer due to the shape of the blade. Being flat means you have to really be sure you don't miss any areas but can get closer to your skin. Unfortunately for me I'm trying to save time in the morning so this doesn't quite work for me. Overall if you have time and hate wet shaving then this might be for you. I've never tried it with a beard or any of the trimmers so I can't comment on that. If you want convenience in the morning a more conventional electronic razor might be for you. The initial price is good but the 'one blade' aspect is not 100% true as you'll need new blades after a couple months with annoys me as well.
