Hated it but it's not my usual choice and I'm not the target audience
I bought this product for a university review. We are studying crossover fiction and we were set this text as a representation of what crossover is most definitely not! If you are between 12-16, a girl and you hate the world then you will probably love this. It is completely self centered and has a very narrow minded view of parents, boys and love. However this how most of us girls were at that age! There are parts where Louise Rennison's voice takes over and there are references to items/places that modern day girls would not recall/understand. I also found the title misleading because Angus is not quite what you think and thongs are not viewed as a good thing. Rennison skirts around issues such as sex. It was not as funny as I expected however my sense of humor is probably different to a ... I bought this product for a university review. Keeps my 14 year old reading, which is great.
Bought for my 14yr old daughter as her aunt had bought the 2nd book in the series and she loved it. She loves this one too.
