Seller notes: “Wholly intact & readable 1957 service manual for the Austin A70 and A90 series BS2, BS3, BW3, BW4, ... “Wholly intact & readable 1957 service manual for the Austin A70 and A90 series BS2, BS3, BW3, BW4, BQU2, BK3, BD2, BD3 and BE2 vehicles. It also includes an A1 size Austin Lubrication Chart containing a detailed diagram with arrows and explanatory text of each part that needs lubricating on the car and at what point (i.e. after how many miles). The covers of the book are slightly curved (from poor storage) and there are some sellotape and dirty shadow marks, along with dusty-dirtiness inside both the front and back covers (please note that the book is complete. We think there must have been something extra attached by a previous owner at some point - maybe some notices or extra instructions, or notes). There is a very very slight pull to the binding between the front cover and the very first page, exposing the cloth mesh (just a minor superficial fault). Pages N3 to Q2 have a crease to the bottom corner of the page. There are some grubby and dirty marks to the long opening edge”

Hence £7.30 in double shipping despite one sent. Paid £0.95 VAT on purchase. Forced to redeem package for extra £6.50 in penalty VAT fees, due to seller neglected electronically provide IOSS when shipping. Refuses to compensate. No responsibility, blames lack of knowledge in trade on buyer and Brexit. Not recommended.

The Post Office did not create an electronic customs document correctly, which resulted in the buyer getting charged import tax by Swedish customs. The buyer was unreasonable - they ordered the books just before Christmas & paid the economy shipping charge (a 21 day delivery window) and then expected a discount, even though we had sent the parcel Tracked (3 day delivery) at our own expense. Although we offered a return & full refund, they declined, kept the books and wanted full compensation
