Fascinating read, read it in 2 nights. The full story which I have never heard before despite seeing many TV programmes which featured this incident and the Adamski death. The way Alan was persecuted by thosr above him in the police was disgraceful but having been through it myself I totally believe it.

Heard about this case many years ago. Great to read about Alan’s experiences first hand. Nice to get a signed copy of the book. Thanks to Alan Godfrey for sharing such an unusual experience.

Not finished yet!!
I heard Alan on BBC Radio WM in an interview and was gripped!! I’m still only half way through the book and it’s brilliant stuff. I can’t put it down. I almost don’t want to read how Ihe was treated by certain individuals but will finish it soon. Excellently written. Will finalise my review once finished. Personally signed by Alan which make it more personal. Thanks!! 25.3.18-finally finished the book and did t want it to come to an end. Fantastic!!! It’s a shame how Alan ended up leaving his beloved job and the people involved in his decision to leave the force should carry this on their shoulders forever. It must be awful to have to leave a job you love because of “others”. I hope you have a happy life Alan and thank you for a wonderful insite to your life and career. God bless you. ... Of course, like pretty much all such events you are left with far more questions than answers, but you should know that by now. But what you get here is an important record of a very significant event, including what is often missing from such things - corroborating details. You are also left sharing Alan's sadness and frustration over the unresolved Adamski tragedy/murder. The greater detail than I'd seen on TV of Alan's own back story is also fascinating though worrying. Jenny's final words were excellent too, but I have others of her books and its what I have come to expect from a lady who knows the meaning and rigour of Occam's Razor. My wife is in the middle of reading it now and she's enjoying it too. My lasting impression is of sadness at what Alan went through, and I wish him ... Very pertinent questions that still need to be answered..
Well written. An honest account of how an incident changed the author's life irrevocably. I couldn't put this book down once I'd started reading! This (then) serving police officer just wanted some answers - but 'others' just wanted him to be quiet and go away! Well done Alan for sticking to your guns and telling the truth!
