Excellent compact voltage regulator. I use it in a lab where I am photographing very faint images and need a continuously-variable lamp to provide a low background illumination for my work. This unit is ideal for running a 240v incandescent bulb at a controllable low voltage, where it is glowing a dim reddish colour. It is much smaller than an old-fashioned variac transformer. I will probably buy another of these to control a fan. Delivery was quick.
