So far so good. I can imagine suction being a problem in certain conditions or if the material used for the cup hardens over time but I haven't encountered any issues yet. Given the price it may be worth a try if you don't want to make permanent changes to your instrument and are looking to move beyond the stage of bodging something that sort of works.
