    Don't consider buying any other brand this is THE range extender to get.

    Ever heard the saying: "buy cheap buy twice"? This isn't the cheap and it knocks the competition into the weeds. Knowing what I know now I would never buy a cheaper brand of range extender. This is to range extenders what Miele is to washing machines. I have tried two other makes and they both "dropped out all the time". They were also tricky to set up and this is "plug & play that works". PLUS you can get an app that controls the Devolo network and allows updates. The icing on the cake is that a unit also works in my summer house at the end of the garden (the other brands I had before wouldn't). It's great kit ^

    Good product but sometimes fails to connect.

    I have two other remote units plus this one but sometimes the main sender unit supply has to be switched off and then back on to enable remote wireless devices to connect even though the main router shows the internet connection is working.

    More modern units may be better but this still does the job.

    Although a little out of date, this still does the job. Better to research the product first so you know what you are doing. This item is just the receiver unit, you also need a sender unit. I was adding to my system so it was fairly easy to set up. I use the free Devolo Cockpit software which helps you to see how everything is working and what speeds you are getting.

    Good Kit, Be Persistent Setting Up

    Maybe I'm a bit slow on this but the setting up, which should have been easy took quite a time as it didn't work initially but after repeating the procedure a couple of times it settled down and is now really working well - it was well worth the effort!

    Easy to set up WiFi Extender

    Bought it, plugged it in, paired it, cloned my network ID. It worked. Powerful wifi where it was weak before. Now have a couple of these + Devolo 500 Lan device. No wifi problems anywhere. Caveat is that I'm in a modest semi rather than a mansion!
