    Listen and discover why Dusty Springfield was a star.

    Great compilation of her work over the years (and includes the song with The Pet Shop Boys). This collection is as complete an overview of her work that you will find on two CD s at a very reasonable price. A couple of gems like The Look of Love and Am I the Same Girl are amongst the standards like Son of a Preacher Man, You Don t Have to Say You Love Me, and Wishin and Hopin. If you want to understand why Dusty was a star, get this collection, it will be well worth the time spent.

    The CD's are nice,

    Her music was really ahead of it's time in the American realm. Though she was English she had more of a grip on the african American music spiritual, jazz and blues than any of her predecessors. The songs you know you just didn't realize they were Dusty Springfields.
